JIPMER MBBS 2013 Entrance Test Pattern | Application form | Syllabus | Important points
Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research, MBBS Entrance Exam or JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination is a Medical Entrance Test conducted by JIPMER Itself. This Entrance Test generally conducted in June.
Those candidates who qualify JIPMER MBBS Entrance test will become eligible for final round of Interview and Counseling. The number of seats avail for the MBBS program is 82 which is very small quantity and that is the reason because of which only talented students or candidates get opportunity of taking admission into this Institute.
JIPMER MBBS 2013 Exam Pattern
JIPMER MBBS Entrance Test is based on objective type multiple choice question having four sections. The four sections are: English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology and Botany). All these four sections comprise a total number of questions of 200 with time duration of 2 and a ½ hour or 150 minutes.
NOTE: There will be no negative marks for any of the 200 questions.
JIPMER MBBS 2013 Application form
JIPMER MBBS application form for the session 2013-14 will be available between the month of March and April, 2013. Students who want to fill up the form can check it out on its official website i.e. http://jipmer.edu/
After filling up the form and confirming its submission of online application, the print out of the application with assigned number should be posted along with required enclosures, photograph/finger prints, etc. to Professor (Academic), JIPMER, Dhanvantri Nagar PO, Puducherry-605 006.

Subject-wise Syllabus of JIPMER MBBS 2013 entrance test:
English: Antonym, Comprehension, Grammar, Sentence Correction, Synonym, Vocabulary Power.
Physics: Atoms, Description of Motion, Heat Thermodynamics, Introduction, Measurement, Laws of Motion, Magnetic Effect of Current, Molecules/Nuclei, Oscillation, Rotational Motion, Waves.
Chemistry: Atomic structures, Atoms, Chemical equilibrium, Chemical families, Chemistry of Heavier Metals, Chemistry of Lighter Metals, Elements – their extraction and occurrence, Molecules and chemical arithmetic
Biology: Application of Biology, Continuity of Life, Diversity of Life, Multi Cellularity, Nervous Coordination, Organism and Environment, Origin and Evolution of Life, The Living World.

Hello Jaya, you can try this year also for the JIPMER Test but what you required is to fulfill their requirement of Eligibility criteria. So, check that.
In the JIPMER official website in the allocation of seats it is said that 18 seats for MBBS as “Central Government Nomination” What does it mean?
